Senior Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well known Coventry based business who are looking for a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a strong and well developed team who are looking for a real leader to ensure further efficiencies can be developed in the respective areas.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for the Financial Accounts team and also for ensuring that the management accounts for all group companies are delivered accurately and on time.

The role is very much an all round role and to give you a flavour you will be involved in the following:

Preparation and timely delivery of monthly management reporting packs, providing commentary on key movements, variances to budget, and risks
Assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accounts
Liaising with internal and external auditors
Being the lead in the preparation and presentation of the monthly exec reporting pack
Supervision and review of monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations

You will have a proven track record of leading teams and will also have experience of being in businesses where you will have dealt with large amounts of data.

The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels is a must in this role as you will have exposure to senior finance stakeholders.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will be looking for a move into a business where you can help further shape and develop a high performing team.

There is a hybrid working model currently in place and you will be most likely be in the office 2 days a week.
