Finance Director required for a privately owned wholesale business based in Staffordshire. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage a small team ensuring all day to day financial matters are in hand. Your main focus shall be on the following activities:
- Using financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios
- Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health
- Monitoring spending and creating budgets
- Preparing company reports for investors
- Reducing costs and implementing efficiencies to increase profits
- Creating funding opportunities
- Ensuring statutory compliance
- Monitoring all sub-companies banking, tax returns and financial matters
- Working with tax experts to ensure best practice
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or equivalent) with proven experience as Finance Director and board relations. You will thrive upon the commercial and strategic aspects of the role alongside being a genuine team player.
