The role

Our client now has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join them to provide a comprehensive management accounting service to managers, executives and the board, with particular emphasis on financial control and performance improvement.

 

The role is likely to involve some of the following responsibilities;

 

  • Provide a finance business partnering service to managers, comfortable with challenge to ensure effective budgetary control
  • Analysis of both financial and non-financial information leading to insights needed to improve the performance of the business
  • Use financial management and planning tools to guide actions and help ensure the required impact is achieved
  • Production of monthly reporting pack, including KPI’s and cashflow
  • Preparation of forecasts / budgets for the whole organisation by preparing schedules, collating data and liaising with budget holders.
  • Assist with the production of the annual accounts, including consolidated accounts. 

     

 

What they need

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience;

 

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE or ‘O’ level passes to include English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Qualified or part qualified finalist in a recognised accounting qualification i.e. CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA etc.
  • Able to extract unstructured data from relevant sources, collected and cleaned from its raw format and assembled into meaningful information
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also able to use initiative and work with limited supervision
  • Proactive team player who can turn around work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent excel skills (Microsoft Dynamics knowledge or experience in having implemented a new accounting system desirable)
