Finance Business Partner Vacancy - Sheffield, up to £67,500 + excellent benefits

I'm delighted to be working with a leading Sheffield based employer who operate within the public sector and financial services sector to recruit into a key Senior Finance Business Partner position within their team.

Your new role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide challenge and support to the business to achieve the strategic plan of the organisation.

You will act as a key interface between Finance and the Bounce Back Loans (BBLS) team, developing and maintaining an accurate knowledge and understanding of the investment and lending portfolios.

You will provide expert input to the quarterly loan guarantee scheme's valuation and expected credit loss measurement processes and work closely with the programme and BBLS teams to plan, budget and forecast for their areas.

Reporting to the Director, you will challenge the business on performance and provide operational support for a variety of processes including onboarding new delivery partners and producing ad hoc information and analysis of the portfolio.

You will have overarching day to day responsibility for the following areas:

  • Business interface
  • Planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Performance management
  • Operational support
  • Support function cost partnering
  • Continuous improvement


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified chartered accountant (e. CIMA, ACA, ACCA ) and it is essential that you have experience of budgeting, performance management, cost monitoring and control.

It is desirable that you have experience of IFRS accounting for financial instruments within a financial services environment.

You will be collaborative, celebrate differences and inspire a culture of inclusion, and you will have excellent communication skills, confident in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £67,500 per annum maximum depending on experience
