Reporting to the Head of Global Finance, the successful Global Commercial Analyst will work closely with the local commercial teams. Primarily, you will be responsible for driving the company’s short- and long-term client profitability, driving commercial awareness across all departments and managing risk across their client portfolio.

 

Global Commercial Analyst - Key Responsibilities:

Client budgets/Contract Management/Pricing:

  • Review and advise on pre-contract client budgets (external and internal), ensuring terms are in line with our business approval process and credit risk management
  • Support RFP/pitch submissions, working closely with the commercial teams and client procurement to secure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Assess and advise senior management on risks across client portfolio
  • Centralise ownership of auditable client agreements, global rate cards and budget
  • Build pricing strategies for new markets and products, working closely with local management on best strategies to infiltrate new markets
  • Formalise rate/cards pricing across all markets, clients and define approach to penetrating new markets with short- and long-term pricing strategies

Budget management, reporting & forecasting:

  • Formalise templates for client budget management and own internal training of client budget management in line with business approval process
  • Own client budget management and weekly reporting for larger contracts
  • Automate pipe reporting in Salesforce and continue to drive our ambition to further automate and centralise our Salesforce use.

Driving growth:

  • Provide and automate meaningful commercial insights to the business and senior management
  • Business partner with market MDs and commercial teams through every step of the sales process
  • Collaborate with the finance team on maintaining accurate records and reporting across all projects
  • Drive optimal profitability across all clients, flagging risks early and advise on future pricing strategies

 

The Candidate:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous business partnering experience - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills as well as significant experience working with and maintaining ERP and ideally CRM systems
  • Impeccable time management, organisational and problem-solving skills – ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience with Salesforce a strong advantage

 

This Global Commercial Analyst position is a hybrid role with flexible working hours and it is expected that you will attend their Central London offices 1-2 days /week. The role requires someone who is intelligent, communicative and extremely energetic, who can aspire to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
