The Finance & Accountancy division of SF Recruitment are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our fantastic client based in Leicester. This is a varied role, working closely with the directors of the business. The position will involve the analysis of financial information and preparation financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial statements including the monthly and annual accounts
- Management Accounts, Forecasts and analysis of variants
- Board reports, analysis and commentary
- Management of mentoring of a team of 2
- Cash flow
- External and internal auditing
- Business Partner to the wider business
- Continuous improvement on process to drive profitability
Skills & Experience:
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant but not mandatory
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience within an SME business is preferred
- A good level of MS Excel competence, to include Pivots and Look up's is essential to enable timely reporting and analysis.
