Head of Finance - Commercial Role - nr. Barnsley

Brewster Partners have a very exciting, commercially orientated opportunity for a Head of Finance for a rapidly expanding, technology business near Barnsley.

The business has very strong financial backing via private investment and a Chairman and Board who are very well known in their industry. They can demonstrate high profit margins, strong EBITDA and have recently won a number of significant customer contracts.

The main responsibilities of this highly commercial Head of Finance role include:

• Working as part of the leadership team to shape and deliver the growth strategy of the business
• Play a central role in supporting key supplier and client relationships
• Produce insightful KPI analysis and MI to drive decision making and improve efficiency
• Develop an internal reporting framework to provide timely insight and information to decision makers
• Work closely with the sales function of the business, evaluating commission structures and incentives and using data to maximise business opportunities
• Support the Finance Director with the leadership of the finance team, deputising in their absence and driving a high performance culture

This high calibre role requires someone with the following skills and expertise:

• Qualified finance leader with significant commercial finance experience
• Must have very strong data analytical experience, with a passion for seeking insight and adding value
• Strong leadership capabilities with exceptional communicnation skills
• Strong Excel experience including financial modelling
