ACA Financial Accountant

Gleeson Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with this corporate, forward thinking, well-known business in Northampton, to recruit a permanent Financial Accountant. Working within a small team but with exposure across the business, this role has a wide remit covering financial accounting, internal controls and risk management within the Group.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting and Internal Audit, the team has responsibility for external financial reporting, management of external audit, technical accounting for the Group, assistance in implementing controls within all areas of the business, support of the Internal Audit function and risk management.

You'll be joining a business going through a period of change. Some of your key responsibilities also include statutory accounts, group reporting, year end, financial planning and analysis and presenting information to senior management. This is a great opportunity for any qualified accountant looking for their first move from practice or an experienced financial accountant from industry.

You will be a strong technical accountant, with a relevant professional qualification, advanced Excel skills, and proven hands on experience.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £55,000 dependant on experience, with an excellent benefits package including 27 days holiday (+ 8 statutory), discretionary generous bonus, 10% pension, sharesave scheme, flexible working, free on-site parking and lifestyle benefits.
