Company Accountant (Part Time / Flexible Working) | Remote (or office based from Chesterfield or Rotherham) | £30,000 - £35,000

The Opportunity

Well established, growing and professional healthcare SME based across South Yorkshire & Derbyshire have a requirement for a hands on Bookkeeper / Company Accountant.

As the primary finance contact for the owner managed business (circa £2.5m turnover) you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day financial management, managing all transactions including purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control. Alongside this you will be involved in producing P&L, Budgeting & forecasting, (working with various stakeholders), financial statements, cashflow reporting and balance sheet reconciliatons.

The business is expanding steadily and you will enjoy a busy but manageable remit. The directors are able to offer a high degree of flexibility regarding working hours and the position is part time (ideally across 3 - 4 days/ 25-30 hours per week).

You will ideally have studied AAT however experience of bookkeeping in a similar SME environment is key.

You will need:

• A demonstrable track record as Bookkeeper / Company Accountant within an SME.
• Experience of Sage and confidence using Excel.
• A hands on approach and ability to manage your own time and workload in a well-organised manner.
• An ability to work in a friendly and cohesive small team.
• AAT (ideally).
• Excellent knowledge of double entry / debits and credits.
