Based: Wythenshaw

Salary: circa £35k dependent on experience. Study support, 26 days holiday + stats, bonus, free parking and much more

Our client are a leading manufacturing business based in the Wythenshaw area. A leading provider to Retailers across the UK and Europe, they are continuously growing and developing the company. Role:

• Reporting to the Head of Finance assisting with regular analysis, reporting and future planning for the business
• Business partnering with internal departments to gather data and financial information
• Weekly reporting and analysis on performance including material/labour variances
• Maintaining and reviewing standard costs with quarterly updates
• Analysis of purchase price variances, highlighting trends and addressing issues
• Monthly sales and margin forecasting based on demand plans and price forecasts
• Providing commercial costings for existing products and new development
• Month end processes - analysing variances to budget and preparing stock reconciliations
• Assisting with external audit process and ad-hoc projects
• Forecasting and financial modelling alongside the Head of Finance

Experience:

• Part qualified/finalist looking to progress and learn
• Manufacturing/costing experience desirable but not essential
• Confidence to built relationships and commercial awareness
• Analytical skills highly desirable - able to dig into the detail and challenge results
