Group Head of Financial Reporting

Eton Bridge Partners is working with a large UK listed B2C business to appoint a Director of Financial Reporting.

Reporting into the Group Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity to add value in a business going through a period of substantial transformation.

The ideal candidate will have significant Group financial reporting experience in a complex business and be a natural leader with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the financial and management reporting processes, both year end and half year
• Oversee the delivery of Financial Statements, the Annual Report and Accounts and the Group's subsidiary statutory accounts
• Lead the relationship with the Group's auditors
• Ensuring systems, controls and processes are fit for purpose and continually improving these to improve the quality of financial reporting

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with up to date knowledge of IFRS
• Experience of leading and developing a team
• Expertise in leading continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
• Experience in overseeing the production of Annual Reports, including year-end Group consolidation.
• The ability to drive change and influence
• A pragmatic approach with a sleeves rolled up and collaborative style
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Commercial acumen
• Ambition to progress within the organisation

Compensation: £150,000-£180,000 + package including shares & bonus

Location: Remote working (2-3 days per month in London), with flexibility to travel
