Financial Controller

Financial Controller / Liverpool / Salary £50000 - £55,000

Accountable Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client who are a growing SME business based in Liverpool. In this role, you will report directly into an experienced Finance Director who will support and mentor you to develop into the FD role within the next couple of years!

In this role you will be responsible for managing a small finance team and leading with the effective preparation of detailed reporting packs to discuss business performance with Directors.

You will be responsible for preparing and consolidating monthly management accounts for the entities within the group, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow and preparing detailed commentaries and MI on a monthly basis. Ensuring the year end accounts process runs smoothly, VAT/Fixed assets and Payroll will also fall under your remit as the progressive No1 within Finance.

You will have strong communication skills, able to work closely with senior stakeholders from across the group where you will be able to support and challenge to drive business improvements and growth.

Key skills:

• Fully Qualified (ACCA/ACA, CIMA)
• Previous experience working within Accountancy Practice/Audit is preferred but not essential
• Ambitious and keen to develop into the No1 role within Finance

This role is office based with 1-2 days a week working from home if required.
