Accountable Recruitment have the pleasure of exclusively supporting our client with the recruitment for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. Our client are a large award winning, privately owned, entrepreneurial organisation based in Liverpool.

In this role you will be responsible for managing one of the busiest, high-growth divisions across the group made up of 4 entities across Merseyside. You will manage a small and experienced finance team (2) who will support you with timely financial reporting to group on a weekly and monthly basis.

This role will be hands on with the preparation of management accounts, analysis and detailed commentaries around business performance. You will produce detailed MI reporting, working closely with the Operational stakeholders to drive business performance around margin analysis.
There are good financial reporting systems in place, however we are looking for candidates who are always keen to make improvements. Previous SAGE experience is desirable but not essential.

Key skills:

• Strong, robust communication skills
• Previous experience working within other privately owned businesses/ MD, board level would be desirable
