A leading independent firm of chartered accountants are seeking a Senior Accountant for their Chorley office. The firm are well established, modern, at the forefront of the market and offer a wide range of accounting services including advisory, tax, audit and business support. Your new role
In this Chorley based Senior Accountant job you will be responsible for producing high quality year end accounts for predominately limited companies but also sole traders and partnerships through to a review stage and making amendments. You will work with clients with turnovers well into the millions and will produce accounts under FRS102A. On top of this, you will be involved with corporate tax work, personal tax returns and management accounts. You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of strong relationships with your clients, planning monthly jobs in accordance with year ends and meeting monthly planning targets.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this Chorley based Senior Accountant job you must have strong experience working for an accountancy practice. You will have experience of preparing highly quality year end accounts under FRS102A and be able to use different IT and Accounting systems such as IRIS and Xero. In this role you will need to be able to work on your own initiative and take responsibility in the role. The firm strives themselves upon their client-focused approach, therefore you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
