Are you a Qualified accountant looking to a leadership role in a VC backed setting?
If so you could be the next Company Accountant for an exciting and expanding Birmingham based business. Reporting into the Managing Director, we seek a proactive individual who is motivated and proactive to assist with general accounting and projects, an individual who can deliver results to support decision making and business growth.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
- Support and lead a small finance team
- Production of management accounts and statutory accounts.
- Detailed analysis of margin and costs.
- Budgeting, cashflow reporting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Build detailed summaries to assist with improvements and planning.
- Management of fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and VAT.
- Supporting commercial and operational decision making through accurate information.
- Ad-hoc tasks when required.
You should have achieved or hold the abilities within:
- ACA / ACCA / ACMA
- Experience of Statutory Accounting
- Advanced Excel and ideally Sage 200
