Finance Director job in Manchester, hands on operational leadership for this real estate developer.

Your new company
This real estate developer has completed a number of exciting projects across the UK, and are developing their market share in the consultation and property space of innovative commercial and mixed use buildings, in addition to a broad portfolio of completed residential projects. With a great reputation in the industry, they pride themselves on delivering quality, bespoke designs in each individual project.

Your new role
Reporting to the Board, you'll take control of a small and competent finance team that will require commercial leadership through the upcoming development projects of the company. Taking an operational lead of the new projects, you will also establish a robust function with support of this team, your responsibilities involve everything from the oversight of management reporting through to ensuring the most efficient controls and processes are in place. You'll have great exposure to clients on a day to day basis as well as the technical and creative professionals within the business including FF&E procurement.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical accounting knowledge from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification. Ideally experience of working in a small to medium sized business to comprehend the full reporting process as well as demonstrating your exposure to various interior design and property development projects. Importantly you will act with natural leadership qualities and show your ability to work with the Board and non-finance colleagues to lead on all finance matters.
