Client Details
- This fast-growing technology business was founded less than 10 years ago and has grown from strength to strength ever since, experiencing double digit growth for the last 5 years
- Based in the heart of the City in stunning newly refurbished offices, this business provides a digital platform for users to manage their savings and investments
- They have undergone a number of acquisitions and are in the process of integrating new entities into the corporate structure
- With just under 500 staff members, they now need to build out their FP&A function to support their data analytics, reporting and processes
- They offer hybrid working (2-3 days in the office)
Description
- Build a deep understanding of the commercial drivers behind the Group's performance
- Engage with the business and the wider finance team to create best-in-class analysis/reporting and resulting Management Information, delivering meaningful insights to decision makers
- Lead the Group budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes, developing a three statement integrated financial plan
- Lead the preparation of monthly Group management reporting, ad hoc analyses and accompanying narrative
- Actively participate in and drive various ad-hoc projects, including a remit to implement a Group planning system e. Anaplan
- Help drive synergies, margin maximisation and stabilisation of revenue streams in a sector with a dynamic and evolving business mode
- Support on M&A activity as required and help expedite the integration of acquisitions
- Support the Group Finance Director in development of a Business Partnering model
- Support in other ad-hoc projects from time to time in support of the Group Finance Director and CFO
Profile
- Prior experience working in a fast-growth or scale up environment is desirable
- Failing this, experience working in a best in class FP&A function is useful
- An understanding of how to implement planning tools and build out an FPA function is helpful
- MI Reporting, data analytics, forecasting and budgeting skills are essential
- If you've used Anaplan, this is also useful, as they need to implement this
- 6 years + experience in FP&A is required
Job Offer
- £100-120k base salary
- No bonus
- 5-10% pension cont
