Financial Controller - 12 month maternity cover

12 Month fixed term contract for a manufacturing company based to the West of Birmingham city centre.

Hays are delighted to be supporting an international manufacturing company to recruit a divisional Financial Controller.

Your new role
The role is a maternity cover and we are looking for someone to start in December or early January 2022 for a 12 month duration. Key duties include supporting the Head of Finance in running commercial operations for the specific sales area. You will act as a Finance Business Partner to support the general management teams. You will be responsible for budgets and forecasts and supporting projects. You will support on review of new and existing contracts.

This is a commercially focussed role and will suit someone who can work in a busy fast paced environment and liaise across the business with non finance members of the team.



What you'll need to succeed

You will be a fully Qualified Accountant who is on short notice and happy to commit to a 12 month fixed term contract. You will have excellent commercial experience including business partnering and be able to present information clearly to non-finance. Excellent excel skills and presentation skills are required.

What you'll get in return
This is a 12 month contract offering flexible working with a base salary of circa £60000 plus benefits and bonus.
