Management Accountant

NEW MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT JOB, SHEFFIELD WOULD SUIT A PART-QUALIFIED CANDIDATE - PAYING UP TO 35K WITH STUDY

A well established, successful and growing group based in Sheffield. Looking for a part qualified Management Accountant to join them, supporting the FD and making this newly created role their own. The company will support study, they are looking for an ambitious individual who wants to progress and who can bring something to the party!

Your new role
As the Management Accountant you will run the accounting process for the group from month end to preparing the management accounts. You will get involved in projects, have a keen interest in systems and have superb Excel skills, you will have the ability to help non-finance people in this area.

Role:-

• Preparing monthly management accounts pack with commentaries
• Variance analysis and forecasting
• Preparation of quarterly VAT return
• Analyse financial information
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
• Process and practice improvement
• Preparation of sales reports and statistics
• Preparing for audit
• Assisting with stock forecasts

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be part qualified however experience is key so we are welcoming applications from finance candidates who are looking to study as long as they have worked in a similar role. You must have very strong system skills, be a real team player, be creative, ambitious, enjoy a fast paced environment and be really up for a challenge! If you have used SAP this would be advantageous but it s not essential.
