One of the largest firms of Chartered Accountants based in Stockport, Greater Manchester are looking to appoint an experienced audit manager to join their successful and growing corporate services team. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join a well recognised firm with opportunities to progress within the senior leadership team.


Your new role
As an Accounts & Audit Manager you will join the corporate services manager team and be allocated a portfolio of clients for which you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of both accountancy and audit services for. Your client base will predominantly consist of OMBs, SMEs and groups within the local Greater Manchester region and your fee income will reach around 300k.

Day to day responsibilities include managing and organising the planning of the team, managing the assignment budgets, delegating and reviewing audit and accounts files, leading client meetings and ensuring all work is filed on time and any queries with the clients are resolved.


What you'll need to succeed
This Stockport based firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to speak with ambitious an Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) who can demonstrate a proven track record of managing audit assignments. As this will be a mixed portfolio the firm are ideally seeking an experienced manager who has worked within a General Practice however applications from the Top 10 firms will also be welcomed. In this role you will be responsible for managing all deadlines so you must be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both employees and your clients.
