Marks Sattin are partnering with a healthcare company who are searching for a highly technical Finance Consultant to join their team. This role will be for an initial 6-month period, with the potential for it to progress to a permanent position.
As a Finance Consultant, you will be required to:
- Participate in making suggestions for the improvement of processes and controls on management, statutory and regulatory reporting.
- Lead the review of periodic reconciliations, ensuring balances are fully substantiated.
- Have familiarity with IA39/IFRS 9, IFRS 7 and IFRS 13 specifically, as well as a general application of IFRS.
- Preparation of a suite of Treasury related SII standardized QRT's.
- Assist with the simplification of Treasury processes.
The ideal Finance Consultant would be Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), ideally with significant experience in accounting for financial instruments and hedging tools. A good understanding of an effective treasury system would be highly beneficial.
