Financial Controller

One of the largest, global marketing communications agencies is looking for a Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic and hugely successful independent business that has continued to do well, despite the pandemic. You’ll be part of a highly successful team that offers fantastic progression and incredibly low staff turnover. 

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for all reporting, year-end and audit preparations for the UK businesses. You will have strong statutory, GAAP and FRS 102 experience. 

We’re looking for someone who has strong technical experience but is perhaps interested in progressing into more commercial areas going forward. 

Financial Controller | The Role

• Preparation and completion of the statutory accounts and tax computations for five business units
• Liaising with company auditors and tax advisors
• Coordinating the annual audit
• Review and sign off monthly payroll before processing
• Ensuring payroll pension administration and returns requirements are met
• Monthly and quarterly cash flow projections
• Preparation of summary monthly management reporting
• Managing the UK reporting and credit control teams 
• Quarterly balance sheet reviews with variance analysis and completing checklists for global reporting 
• Compliance reporting

Financial Controller | The Person

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• You may be straight out of practice or have several years experience post qualification - we're open to a wide range of levels of experience 
• Experience in producing statutory accounts 
• Experience of FRS 102 and US GAAP 
• Up to date reporting experience with large organisations 
• Strong team player and an excellent communicator

Financial Controller | The Package

• Salary -between £60-90k (depending on experience)
