Finance Manager

Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently supporting a highly successful and growing Private Equity backed manufacturing business based in Cannock who are recruiting for a qualified accountant (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) to join them as Finance Manager.

This role will be mostly office based but with good flexibility in terms of working from home and hours. The role offers great opportunity for progression as the business grows following high levels of investment.

Key Duties: Finance Manager, Cannock, £45,000

• Day to day management of finance department, including financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Cash flow forecasting
• Management of monthly and weekly payroll
• Inventory Management & Reporting (overhead rates, costing)
• Audit Management
• Undertake additional project work as required by the Finance Director

Key Skills & Experience: Finance Manager, Cannock, £45,000

• Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) or qualified by experience
• Able to demonstrate relevant experience in a manufacturing business
• Must be a strong and effective communicator
• Must be highly IT literate with good ERP knowledge and advanced spreadsheet skills
• Able to effectively understand and manage information at a detailed level
• Costing experience
• Experience of a private equity business
• The ability to make process / procedure improvements
