Experienced Practice accountant job with chartered accountants in Colchester


Hays are recruiting an experienced Practice accountant for their client, a Chartered Accountants in Colchester.

Our client has been established in the East Anglia and Essex region for over 25 years and work with a loyal and diverse portfolio of clients, across various sectors. Due to growth and succession planning, my client is seeking a Qualified or Qualified by Experience accountant, who can work alongside the partners, managing a portfolio.

Previous experience in an accountancy practice is required.

The main responsibilities for this role will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Reviewing work prepared by the accounts support team
• Liaising with the bookkeeping and payroll departments
• Reporting to the Partners
