The Role:
The finance team at Salix is critical to the organisation's success. The team has grown significantly over the last 12 months to support the delivery of the new grant schemes and currently comprises 10 people and this is an excellent opportunity to join as a Financial Controller. You will report to the Finance Director and have direct responsibility for managing the Senior Financial Accountant, Financial Accountant and two Project Accountants. Previous knowledge of IFRS9 and IFRS16 is required for this role . You will have the ability to work in a fast paced, evolving organisation. You will be an excellent communicator because this role is very much outward facing including management of staff and advisory work within the organisation as well as acting as primary contact for BEIS on all financial accounting matters.
The Package Salix offers a competitive package of benefits including hybrid working, 28 days holiday and a pension contribution of up to 10%. You will also join a friendly, supportive team within an organisation that is having a positive impact on the environment.
