Your new firm
An ambitious and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester City Centre are looking to appoint a technically astute Audit Senior Manager to join their senior leadership team and support their growing pipeline of work. The firm have recently been appointed as auditors for some large corporates and international businesses and are therefore seeking an Audit Manager who has gained experience working within a Top 10 Firm.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior Manager you will oversee a large portfolio of clients consisting of some of the firm's higher risk audits, larger corporates and international businesses for which you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the audit and leading the client relationship. Day to day responsibilities will include running multiple audits over a month, managing budgets & WIP, providing a technical review of the audit file and leading the final client meetings.

You'll also work closely with the senior leadership team taking an active role in pitches and tenders, developing your network, recruitment and developing and nurturing talent within the team.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking a technically astute ACA Qualified Audit Manager to join this ambitious senior management team and help with the strategic growth and presence of the firm. The firm have seen considerable growth over the past 18 months winning a number of large corporate clients from Top 10 and other national firms therefore they are seeking a technically astute auditor who has had exposure to consolidated audits, IFRS work and any other specialised audit work such as pensions, solicitor firms etc. With this in mind, audit managers / audit senior managers who have gained management experience within the Big 4 or Top 10 Firms. Ideally you will be working towards or have already attained your RI status.

The firm are offering a competitive salary of around £50000 - £65000 DOE however more senior will also be considered.
