Finance Business Partner

Commercial Finance Manager, Advertising agency.

Our client is a global adverting / media agency, we are looking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager to support their client projects; improve efficiency, performance and ultimately the profitability of each project.

Key responsibilities:

• Business Partner the project leads and helping them to manage their project finances (e.g. assist management of project budget sheets to ensure margins are in line with forecasted and that 3^rd party expenditure is line with budgeted spend, assisting with client queries).
• Establish close working relationships with client project teams and internal operational managers.
• Provide financial governance across all client projects with a focus on specific client requirements.
• Track across all projects to determine whether they achieve their desired financial, business and technical objectives. Providing explanation where this is not the case.
• Ensure robust financial reporting is in place across your portfolio of projects to record and report as to the success of their delivery against specific client requirements.
• Ensure project trackers are up to date for month-end revenue recognition and effectively challenge where project phasing doesn’t look realistic or is not in line with the contract.
• Work with the Project Team to optimise how they are using their budget sheets and ensure that they have been effectively trained.
• Manage 1-2 junior team members.

Your profile:

• A qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) accountant with previous experience working in an Agency / Media environment.
• Strong commercial finance experience.
• Interpersonally strong with excellent communication and client facing skills.
• Demonstrable experience of managing key (non-financial) stakeholders.
