Chief Financial & Operations Officer

Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFOO)  | London | Technology / IT | Up to £120,000 per annum + Equity + Benefits

We are currently working on a new mandate on behalf of a start-up Financial Technology firm in London to hire a Chief Financial & Operations Officer to work closely with the CEO and other investors in managing and directing their financial and operational requirements. Below is a brief description of the role:

The CFOO Role

• You will work with our client Accountants and Lawyers to manage their monthly and annual accounts and reporting requirements.
• You will manage, analyse and forecast our client expenses, supply costs and revenues.
• You will manage regulatory reporting and audit requirements for the FCA.
• You will manage our client's suppliers and customer contracts, payroll, daily invoices and help identify internal inefficiencies and excess costs to streamline and simplify their processes.
• You will play an active role in investor reporting, requirements and future fundraising.

 The Requirements

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), preferably chartered.
• Minimum of 6+ years experience of running financial and commercial functions within a Technology or FinTech start-up/scale-up firm.
• Experience in stakeholder management and relations, covering suppliers, board members, investors and senior management.
• Prior experience of working with financial regulators.
• Sound knowledge of banking fintech and/or payments.
• Experience in M&A and/or VC fundraising.
