FP&A Analyst / Liverpool / £40,000 - £50,000 plus a flexible benefits package including hybrid working.

Accountable Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious FP&A Analyst / Commercial Analyst to join our client's growing finance team based in Liverpool. Our established and award-winning client have a unique opportunity for a commercially minded candidate to join their friendly and high-performing team in this newly created role due to growth.

Reporting directly into the Head of Commercial Finance, your role will be broad and varied allowing you the opportunity to play a lead role in the financial planning and analysis across this varied group.


In this role you will work closely with other financial stakeholders across the group to review, analyse and consolidate the groups financial position. You will analyse large data sets using Microsoft Excel and BI tools, to allow you to provide a digestible and informative Executive level summary. You will provide insights from a group perspective, allowing the senior management team to review a well-rounded picture of where the business is at currently, including insights around key under and over performing areas of the business.

In this role you will also have the opportunity to support with the on-going system implementation of the latest BI tools, allowing your experience to improve and refine reporting requirements.


Key Skills

  • Ideally you will be Fully Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA (we can also consider part-qualified and QBE candidates with relevant experience for this role)
  • Good understanding of budgeting/forecasting and analysis is key
  • Previous experience working within a FP&A / Commercial analyst / Finance business partnering role would be an advantage
  • Strong experience working with large data sets in Microsoft Excel, Financial modelling experience is desirable
  • Experience working with and supporting the on-going implementation of BI tools is desirable
