Corporate Accountant - Real Estate - 10mth FTC OUR CLIENT is an active, expanding and dynamic international private equity firm who focus on non or sub-performing portfolios of real estate assets across Europe. They have instructed us exclusively to recruit for a Corporate Accountant to join their finance team on a fixed-term contract basis.

The Role: Will see the successful individual undertaking corporate accounting responsibilities for a number of entities. Working alongside the FD and FC the role will undertake the following duties:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and booking sales invoices, purchase invoices and journals etc.
  • Liaising with international outsourced service provider.
  • Managing corporate credit cards.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Preparing monthly cashflow forecasts.
  • Assisting with year-end accounts including helping provide info for Tax returns.
  • Performing monthly and quarterly accounting.

THE PERSON: To apply, you will be a Part or fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant hands on accounts prep experience, preferably in a private equity/real estate environment. You will be technically and commercially competent with experience of financial reporting, international accounting and have exposure to cash-flows and feel able to hit the ground running with the above role and responsibilities. Knowledge of using SAP would be highly advantageous. You will also be organised with strong attention to detail and be able to demonstrate proven ability to work independently and within a team working with a hybrid model (2 days from Home and 3 days in the office).
