Financial Controller

A global Marketing Agency is looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join the team. The business is very well established and succeeding, so they’ve created a new role at this level. This will suit someone who’s able to hit the ground running and has excellent communication skills.

The Role

·   Driving process improvement and system innovation

·   Overseeing the day to day finance operations of the business

·   Full ownership over core finance reporting, including leading year end audits

·   Managing and developing the finance team

·   Involvement in commercial matters such as new business, negotiations and commercial strategy

·   Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting for both management and Group

·   Strong revenue recognition knowledge and management in accordance with IFRS15

·   Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

·   Intercompany recharges and accounting

·   Oversight of statutory items such as liaison with Auditors, year-end financial statements, tax related submissions

The Person

·   3 years + in a senior finance role

·   Experience using Nestuite (desirable)

·   ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (essential)

·   Experience managing a finance team in a fast-paced multi-project environment

·   Excellent communication skills – outgoing, approachable and collaborative

·   Proven Financial Control and Management accounting skills

·   Experience preparing statutory accounts

·   Advanced MS Excel skills

·   High degree of commercial acumen
