Senior Finance Manager required for a brilliant, gobal business based in Liverpool. Our client has an excellent reputation and is known for being one of the regions best employers. Due to impressive recent relsults and significant growth, they are now looking to add a Senior Finance Manger to a high performing and well respected finance team.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and working as part of a brilliant team, the main purpose of this role is to support the international accounts function at a senior level. The post holder will also be expected to deputise for the group Financial Controller as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis and interpretation of results on a monthly basis with presentations to senior leaders
- Liaising with parent company finance teams to explain and interpret monthly results
- Commercial focus on customer profitability analysis
- Work closely with the GM’s / stakeholders to prepare a monthly contract profitability analysis
- Develop injunction with the I.T team , improved solutions and reports for reporting
- Prepare 12 month rolling forecasts for the Group
- Developing and maintaining a close business partner relationship with key individuals in the various regions
- Ensure strong internal controls are maintained
- Management of the corporate budgeting process
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial results and analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI’s
- Prepare Monthly VAT returns
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and presentation of annual budgets for EMEA region to board level
- Liaison with external auditors
- Act as deputy to the Group Financial controller where necessary, including accounts team oversight and management
- Highly motivated team player with an ability to work on own initiative, with strong multitasking capabilities
- Various ad-hoc and project work as required
Key Requirements:
- Qualaified Accountant
- Energetic, ambitious proactive outlook with a real desire to make a difference and improve and modernise the Finance function within a business.
- A do-er and complete finisher, who is able to work independently to solve the range of problems encountered in an SME environment.
- Team player who is able to work across the business to effectively implement improved processes and reporting.
- Strong and robust personality with the ability to honestly and openly express and defend views, alongside willingness to listen to contrasting views
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), essential to clearly explain technical issues and potential solutions to Managers from a non Finance background
- Hands on individual with a genuine passion and interest for Finance, with the ability to support the business in the varied challenges in this pivotal role.
