2 THE ROLE
What you'll be doing?This is a newly created position and has the potential to progress over time.
Requiring both commercial and analytical skills, the position offers the right candidate the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the performance of the business
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to an experienced FP&A analyst and assisting in the design, implementation and execution of all planning including 3-year plans, annual budget process and regular reforecast cycles
Maintain & Develop high quality financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
Work with the business to refine a set of relevant key performance indicators, collate and report these on a monthly basis
Monitor both financial and non-financial performance indicators and commercial drivers, highlighting trends and analysing variances to plan
In collaboration with the business, develop, update, and produce both new and existing reports, KPIs, that are value-add, accurate, meaningful, and suitable for the intended audience
Create dashboards and reports using Power BI

Skills & AbilitiesBusiness insights and analysis
Advanced Excel modelling combined with numeracy skills and attention to detail
Output driven and able to work to tight deadlines
Good communication skills and a proactive approach
Agile learner able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business
Comfortable working independently and in delivering tasks end to end with minimal supervision

Your ExperienceNewly qualified, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an FP&A role
Experience within a high-growth / PE-backed business (desirable)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience is essential
Experience of using business intelligence software (e., Power BI is desirable)
Your QualificationsA professional accounting qualification (ICAEW / ICAS / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
What you'll bring Passionate about providing support to the business; drive and enthusiasm to use management reporting to identify and deliver financial or operational improvements
Strong project management and organisational skills
Ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop practical solutions in a collaborative manner
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with a can-do attitude
