Financial Accountant

Axon Moore are proud to be partnering with a well established entrepreneurial business based in Manchester who are seeking to bring on board a new Financial Accountant. 

In a fast moving, and highly commercial environment this role is ideal for someone looking to align their technical skill set with an culture that encourages innovation, team work and new ideas.

Working directly for the Finance Director, this position will play an essential role in the development of the finance function, taking on board a technical remit and support the roll out and development of further projects e.g. system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with external advisors to support the statutory accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Prepare the VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat submissions.
• Support the month end close, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Cost analysis reporting across various departments, producing reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Support and lead the development of a new ERP System implementation.

Person Specification:

• ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified with a strong background in a technical role.
• Clear evidence of using ERP Systems, having exposure to an implementation is advantageous. 
• Strong Excel competency.
• An excellent communicator, with the ability to speak with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
