Interim – Senior Financial Modelling Advisory Role

A career changing opportunity has arisen in a fast growing and ambitious boutique financial modelling and advisory practice. They are looking for a career-driven and enthusiastic modeller to come in and hold down the fort for an initial 6 months – possible to extend to a year. Outside of IR35 - salary negotiable, this position will require someone who is highly motivated, an excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail in their models. Flexible working.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a team and providing support for team members to provide outstanding advisory services to both public and private sector clients in infrastructure/energy projects.
• Managing a team responsible for developing a feasible financial model for a UK offshore windfarm.
• Managing the upgrade and refinement of various financial models affected by COVID-19, including various scenarios and detailed financial statements.
• Providing exceptional advisory services right up until the financial close, including ensuring the most efficient financial structure which will help negotiate terms with the client.
• Supporting clients in developing bids to enable feasibility of projects.

What we are looking for:

• The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a numerate discipline.
• Circa 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Modelling and/or Project Finance.
• Experience of using the FAST financial modelling standard
• Background experience within the infrastructure/ energy space is desirable.
• Experience working within a registered advisory practice.
• An exceptional ability to use Excel to build and navigate complex financial models.
