An established, dynamic and modern accountancy practice based in the heart of Manchester city centre are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their high performing and friendly team. The firm offer a wide range of accountancy services include accounts prep, audit, cloud accounting, management accounts, tax, company reconstructions, projection work and much more. Your new role
In this Manchester based Senior Accountant job you will be in charge of handling your own portfolio of clients predominately made up of limited companies. You will be tasked with the more complex accounts jobs and will work on mainly FRS102A jobs, groups and a handful of FRS105. Your main duties and responsibilities in this role are to prepare full sets of statutory year-end accounts, assist and work alongside the manager above you, prepare management accounts, supervise & review junior staff members bookkeeping & VAT work and to use multiple market leading software's.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this Manchester based Senior Accountant job you will firstly need to possess at least 3+ years' experience working in practice and be competent in preparing statutory accounts from start to finish. On top of this, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, excellent organisation skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The firm are happy to consider applicants that are studying ACCA, ACA, AAT (although you will need to possess strong experience) or 'qualified by experience; personality and experience is key.
