Interim Group Finance Manager

Our client, a highly-acquisitive, private-equity backed software group requires an interim Group Finance Manager / Financial Reporting Lead. With operations in UK and Europe. Group t/o £25m

You will be an ACA / CA qualified accountant with extensive post-qualified experience in technical finance including expert knowledge in IFRS, tax, transfer-pricing and audit.

Working closely with auditors and professional advisors, responsibilities will include:

Purchase price allocation

1.Working with external valuation firm to split out the intangibles in-line with IFRS for recent acquisition

2.Journal entries to record purchase accounting correctly in NetSuite

IFRS reporting

1.Preparing full IFRS accounts for the group company – rolling forward first year accounts.

2.Setup IFRS 101 for uk subsidiaries - 6 companies and 2 European companies

3.Specific focus on IFRS 16 and 15

Tax

1.Reviewing Transfer pricing policy for 2021

2.Ensuring transfer pricing entries are made

3.Working through tax cash position and forecast

4.Creating template and data capture for 2021 returns

5.Ensure compliance for 2020 returns

Year end

1.Helping get prepared for group audit for 2021 with auditors

2.Ensure balance sheet recs are upto date for all companies

3.Updating all lead schedules for auditors

4.Reconciling TB roll forward from legacy system to new NetSuite ERP

This is initially a short term interim contract of c.3-4 months.

This role will be "remote working / working from home", but in commutable distance of Reading.
