Management Accountant required to join a National Distribution Centre based in Ashton-u-Lyne.
Your new company
You new company are an ambitious, rapidly growing sales and distribution business based in Greater Manchester. Due to yet another acquisition, they're growing their finance function to support the wider business.
Your new role
In your new role as Management Reporting Accountant you will support the GFC with the preparation of monthly management accounts including detailed variance analysis of Monthly results to Budget and Prior year with full Commentary on variances giving complete insight into what is driving the variances. Weekly cash flow preparation and forecasting in conjunction with the MA for Stock & Operations. Pro-actively driving ad hoc commercial analysis to help focus activity and identify potential cost savings and value for money, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this exciting yet challenging role. You will need to be much more than just a Management Accountant. You will be a bright and ambitious Financial Accountant with strong analytical and business partnering skills. You will have be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and experience working within a similar role.
