Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a West Midlands based client that are currently on the look out for a Director of Finance on a permanent basis.

The Director of Finance will take responsibility for the long-term business plan, managing the treasury and funding requirements, supporting the development function with comprehensive advice and overseeing the investment strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the Platform Corporate Strategy
• Proving effective leadership, being performance and delivery focused
• Producing the medium- and long-term financial plans highlighting key operational, funding or covenant compliance issues
• Responsible for the Treasury function including the responsibility for the EMTN programme, working with external stakeholders to ensure financial stability and ensuring the business continues to have the appropriate credit strength to deliver the corporate strategy
• Partnering with development and new business teams to ensure investments are appropriately appraised and deliver the required financial and social return

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Fully Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/ACMA
• Significant experience operating in a senior finance or leadership position
• Effective communicator both with finance and non-finance professionals.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel at an advanced level.
