Interim Systems Accountant / FBP

The Client is a Not-for-Profit organisation with a number of sites across the Sheffield Region, there is an immediate opportunity for a Qualified / Part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience Accountant to join the business for a 12 - 15 month contract to cover maternity leave. The role is a very broad role with responsibility across both Systems accounting and Finance business partnering so could be a very interesting option for anyone who is keen to developing either area.

The elements of the role will include:

Systems Accountant:
*Ownership of the groups financial reporting tools SUN, Q&A, Proactis and Excel
*Point of contact for systems issues
*adhoc reports production and any associated queries
*Assist with training around systems

Finance Business Partner:
*Preparation of timely management Accounts for various departments within the group
*Preparation of monthly reporting packs, variance analysis, KPI's and commentary for review
*Preparation and posing of month end journals inc accruals & prepayments
*Assist in preparation of the audit file
*Adhoc duties as required

This role involves lots of interaction with stakeholders both internal and external to the business so will suit an individual who can demonstrate strong communication skills as well as technical competency to cover the requirements of the role as detailed.
