Finance Director

Finance Director | London (Central), London (Greater) | £900/day

Our client is a privately owned asset management and development business with over €8bn in assets across multiple group companies.

Reporting to the Group CFO you will:

• Be ACA Qualified
• Have a background of coming up through the ranks in accounting and finance teams
• Have experience of leading accounting teams
  • There is an existing team of 8 in a European country
• Ability to manage an auditor and the audit process
  • Crucially to represent our Client in the selection and negotiation of accounting policies
• The individual needs to be strong on IFRS accounting
• Have a background of producing accounts to a public company timetable

As a business, our Client is active, so experience with first time consolidations, new complex financings, disposals are regular events. 

Change management / implementation of new accounting software etc. would be a positive. External investor focus is not required; that will be managed by existing team. The individual would be expected to travel to Europe every other week for at least 3 days once business travel is permitted.

Our Client is undertaking a large number of transactions and information requests concurrently, resulting in a high pressure environment and potentially some weekend work
