Interim Management Accountant

A very well-established financial services company based in central Bradford seeks an interim Management Accountant to support them over the next 6 months.

The primary task is to assist the business with appropriate performance reporting, analytical, forecasting and planning support.

Responsibilities include:
*Own and deliver accurate and timely elements of management reporting (including management accounts, plans and forecasts) for approval by senior management in accordance with internal procedures and timescales.
*Develop new management information and analysis, ensuring that all relevant data is captured.
*Effectively handle questions and queries from senior management in relation to management accounting reports and processes.
*Support specific areas of the business, providing a full management accounting service and challenge performance and assumptions made in all decision making, planning, and performance measurement activities.
*Operate financial controls over elements of the Group's Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
*Act as a deputy to Senior Management/Business Accountant as required.

To be considered you will be, ideally, a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a proven record within the financial services sector. Advanced Excel and clear communication skills are also essential.
