Finance Business Partner

Sharp Consultancy are working with a high growth, market leading client based in the Doncaster area.

Our client has developed a market leading range of products throughout a sustained period of growth and as part of the next stage of growth wants to add a commercially strong business partner into the current finance function.

The role will take responsibility for key activities within the group, reporting directly into the Finance Director but with visibility throughout finance and non-finance and in particular key stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
*Work in close partnership with the Team managers and Heads of Finance to provide accurate and comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
*Control the cost performance process
*Control the annual budgeting and forecasting process
*Help to analyse monthly variances and prepare monthly review packs.
*Become a key point of contact to support the business with any financial modelling.
*Build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making.
*Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
*Work closely with the MI team to help create and monitor performance through dashboards and reporting and provide detailed analysis.
*Help to Identify and manage potential M&A opportunities
*Aid Integration of newly acquired businesses into reporting structure.

You will ideally be a qualified accountant with strong experience in partnering commercially with finance and non-finance.
The role could suit either a first-time mover from within a Corporate Finance or Transaction Services department of a professional practice environment or alternatively you may already be working within a business partnering role within commerce.
