Financial Accountant - Rotherham / Home working

Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusive recruitment partners to a market leading international business in their search for a Financial Accountant. The business has offices in Rotherham, just off junction 33 of the M1, however they do adopt hybrid working.

Reporting in to the Head of Finance, this is the perfect role for an ambitious recently qualified Accountant who is looking to make the move from Practice into Industry.

Responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the correct financial results are reported on-time to the business and the Group
- Production and Preparation of Statutory accounts for all trading & corporate entities
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the Head of Finance in ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives, both local and global
- Participate in process improvement reviews
- Review and challenge financial results
- Ensure continual monitoring and improvement in the controls environment around all transactional processing
- Development of a quality review of processes & procedures, driving development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaison with the external auditors, ensuring accurate and timely data provision and proactive, sustainable resolution of any audit findings
- Ad hoc finance / business projects
