A PE backed SaaS start-up are looking to make a crucial hire within their expanding UK team. This newly created Finance Manager position will be mentored by a high-calibre CFO and will be responsible for managing the day to day accounting of the business along with providing analysis and commercial insight.
Along with a diverse role in a scale-up, fast-paced environment, there is a fantastic opportunity to grow and flourish within the business, working alongside an impressive, ambitious leadership team.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
- Statutory reporting and leading the audit process
- Deep dive analysis
- VAT
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Support Payroll
- Developing procedures and automating processes
- Manage junior finance assistants
- Transformation projects
- Modelling commissions structure
Skills:
- Qualified accountant -ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Experience in a scale-up tech/SaaS environment or first move from practice with experience dealing with high-growth businesses.
- Good communicator and strong business partnering skills
