Commercial Cost Analyst

Hawkmont Consulting is recruiting for a private equity backed, fast growth manufacturing business based out of Blackburn.  The business has recently completed the PE investment process and is currently going through an exciting period of change. They are looking to bring a Commercial Cost Analyst into the business. This is an excellent opportunity to work with agrowing, dynamic business gaining exposure to multiple stakeholders across multiple levels. 

Working closely with the Finance Director, the Financial Controller and the broader SMT, the role incorporates: 

• Review and analysis of business results on a global basis.
• Support quarterly and annual business forecasting cycles, leading on management of business planning models.
• Support improvements in ongoing rolling forecasting processes and models.
• Cost reporting and standard costing analysis. 
• Business partnering across the non-financial departments, with a high level of support aimed at manufacturing.
• Supporting the enhancement of KPI reporting in the monthly Board pack.

Are you right for this Commercial Cost Analyst role? 

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Previously worked within a manufacturing environment. 
• Strong modelling and analytical skills
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders  
• Demonstrated ‘hands on’ delivery approach
• Capable of interpreting information and providing succinct analysis to senior stakeholders
