Senior Manager, Financial Planning

Our client, a respected Financial Services Group is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager, Planning. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead and develop a Financial Planning process/framework for a leading FTSE250 firm which is well positioned for future growth.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the role will be responsible for leading the end to end financial planning process for the group, developing the financial plan and developing the full five year financial planning process, framework and model. You will also be responsible for managing a small team of managers and analysts undertaking planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and BI activities to support the group planning cycle. The role is a senior leadership role within the Finance function and will be responsible for leading and developing the finance team, providing strategic and tactical decision support to support capability development.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience in financial planning, in particular developing the 5 year financial plan, the planning process and model. You should have excellent knowledge of excel with broader understanding of FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting. You must bring commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills as well as people management and leadership experience. You should also be a willing and collaborative team player, ambitious and driven, with a positive can do attitude.
