Senior Accountant - Audit & Accounts

Your new firm
A reputable and well established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Burnley are currently looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their audit & accounts team. This opportunity has arisen due to increased workflow and new business wins and the firm can accommodate both part time or full time hours. The firm are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) who lives locally to the Burnley area.

Your new role
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing a range of both audit and accounts assignments for a range of OMBs and SMEs. In this role you will prepare, finalise and submit statutory accounts and corporation tax computations and lead audit assignments from start through to completion which includes overseeing juniors out on client site. Your workload will be split 50/50 between audit and accounts and there will be some travel out to client site however this will all be relatively local. The firm can accommodate either part time or full time hours.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who is experienced in both leading audit assignments and taking statutory accounts through to submission. This role will suit a recently qualified accountant looking to consolidate their experience or a part time senior accountant who is seeking working hours of 3 days or more.

What you'll get in return
This job opportunity will pay a salary of up to £38000 FTE dependent on experience and benefits include parking, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and flexible working arrangements.
