Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner - Remote Working

MRK Associates are very pleased to be working exclusively with a specialist services client, based near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. Our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis, working remotely.

This job would suit a qualified CIMA Management Accountant, working collaboratively with the Director of Corporate Services and Head of Finance & Infrastructure.

This business is a successful specialist services organisation delivering their expertise across multiple sites with different products for 40 years.

The successful individual will have at least 3 years relevant experience at Senior level of Financial Management & Budgetary Controls. They will have experience in designing, producing and setting up their own budget templates and managements accounting reporting. Extensive systems design and System Administrator experience is also essential.

Job responsibilities:

Prepare the annual budget timetableAssist with the preparation of the annual budget and business planDesign budget setting processes and proceduresDesign budget modelling processes Perform financial modelling on new and existing contracts to obtain assurance on full cost recovery plus a mark upProvide training to managers on managing budgets effectivelyProduce monthly management accounts Undertake regular meetings with budget Lead business supporting to operational delivery to ensure managers deliver their work within the objectives and budgets allocatedSupport the internal and external audit processSupport the production of statutory accounts and ad hoc reporting Lead the business support to all areas of the companyProvide support to the Director of Corporate Services as and when requiredUndertake any other duties that may be deemed reasonable in pursuit of the business' needs
