Based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our client is an exciting, market leading business who have a strong presence in their market and are looking for a Credit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit someone with an academic degree in business economics, finance or related field, with multiple years of experience undertaking risk decision and / or underwriting commercials loans.

This company is a growing manufacturing company which has developed over the years and they are now looking to develop the business further. You will provide value added support across a number of business areas and will work closely with the Financial Controller to provide financial analysis of sales activity and operational performance.

The successful individual will be Degree educated ideally in Banking, Finance, Economics or similar with excellent knowledge and understanding of financial statements. You will be confident, pro-active, and highly organised with good level of written and verbal communication.

Job responsibilities:

Approving or declining credit requests within delegated credit authority in a timely mannerAssisting in the preparation of credit applications exceeding established authorityRecommending where appropriate an alternative credit optionEnsuring credit decisions comply with policies, procedures and guidelinesManaging the credit organization and all the credit processes in-countryManaging and motivating a relatively small teamManaging the Wholesale Touch Audit processOther duties and special projects as assigned
